The MCC exists to bring together all the men of the parish for a variety of meetings and activities ranging from formal dinners to more informal get-togethers, from cooking pancakes to clearing snow, from socialising together to praying together. There is no subscription, membership form or special handshake! Simply by being a man who attends Christ Church you are a member of the MCC. Although designed to appeal to the men of the church our activities and meetings are by no means exclusive and all parishioners male and female are cordially invited to join in. The MCC grew out of the disbanded Church of England Men's Society and has been in existence in some form since 1934. |
